Heavy Vehicle Forum  - Grape and Grain

Our Heavy Vehicle Forum is always very popular among heavy vehicle operators and owners. October 15, 2026

 

The forum is focussed on the harvest - particularly grape and grain. It will give drivers avenues to resolve professional issues and make their work-life easier. Topics include Laws,  enforcement, compliance and consequences, and safety

Guest speakers include NHVR, NSW and Victoria Police, WorkSafe, Transport for NSW and Energy Australia.

The morning starts at 8.30am for 9am start at The Cliffs Roadhouse, Trentham Cliffs, NSW.

Expected finish time: 12.00pm. Refreshments will be provided. Book on Eventbrite.

This event is a collaboration between Community Roadsafe Mildura and Wentworth Shire Council and is funded by VicRoads Community Road Safety grants and TNSW.

Schools - we have a bike ed trailer with 10 bikes and helmets that you can borrow for your Bike Ed program. Look at the VicRoads website to see how Bike Ed fits into your curriculum.​

 

We aim to improve the safety of drivers and passengers through the implementation of a local road safety program focusing on vehicle safety.

All of our programs are funded through VicRoads Community Road Safety funding, in collaboration with local business and community.​​​

Alcohol and Other Drugs in programs such as our "Designated Driver" campaigns.​

New Arrivals - assisting new arrivals to Australia with learning to drive

Fatigue and Distraction through our Driver Reviver sites.

​Community RoadSafe Mildura presents its annual ROADCRAFT motorbike group safety seminar and 
advanced skills training weekend. Providing you with facts, practical skills and knowledge to stay 
safe on your motorbike.
When: 23 and 24 October 

FREE safety and skills forum with

presentations by HART (Honda Australia Rider Training), Victoria Police and Rural Ambulance Victoria *and DCCEEW NSW and "Let's Torque Motorsport" host Damion Bradshaw.

Suitable for both road and dirt bike riders of all ages. Interactive workshop. Light refreshments provided.
